AMSI made a press statement condemning the American occupation forces for shelling a civilian house in al Dhaab district in Hawija region 70 km south-west of Kirkuk City with warplanes and helicopter that led 8 people dead from one family.

In the framework of the continuous brutal policy and attacks of occupation forces against the sons of this country, today occupation forces shelled one houses on 15 February 2008, Friday with war planes in Dhaab, Hawija region 70 km south-west Kirkuk City that led 8 people dead from one family when they were at home altogether.
This and other similar crimes became the most prominent character of the occupation forces and their collaborators who did not denounce and condemn these crimes while they claim to come for the sake of people.
The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) condemns this blatant assault on the lives of peaceful citizens, bear the occupation and the current government fully responsible for it.
AMSI invites all the faithful in the world to denounce acts of the occupation and their aides, and to document their crimes until the day comes when those will be accountable for all their actions against our proud people.
