ImageAMSI Press Department issued a press release condemning two crimes committed by the American occupation forces with so-called Sahwa (Council) in Jamiah region and another crime committed by the Government Guard in al Hayy region which led to one citizen dead and three others arrested after departure from Friday Congregation.

Joint forces from the occupation forces and so-called al Sahwa forces killed two citizens in Jamiah region at the end of the street behind Najma Mosque on 15 March 2008 afternoon.


The murder crime occurred when the troops shot a citizen inside the car which led his dead.


Meanwhile the government forces arrested three citizens after the prayers departed from the Juma (Friday) congregation in Najma mosque in al Jamia region.


The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) condemnes these crimes, hold the occupation, the current government fully responsible for the scandals of human rights violations which became hallmarks and scars under alleged democracy that came with the occupation and their aides in the country.
