Tuesday, 13 May 2008 16:36
ImageThe Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) described the arrest of an elderly woman, her son and grandson in al Kamb area by the U.S. occupation government last Thursday as barbarism that will not show the strength and masculinity, but purely random dilemmas showing the bankruptcy of the occupier and his aides, especially at these internationally prohibited crimes.

HEYET Net – Information and Press Department of AMSI condemned this barbaric crime holding both the occupation and the current government fully responsible demanding immediate release of three detainees.

At the press release AMSI gave details about the crime as following:

“The American occupation forces backed by the government forces on Thursday evening, 8 May 2008 arrested elderly woman, her son and grandson from the Kamp in Al Adhamiyah.

These forces have entered the house as usual barbaric tactics using voice bombs, breaking the doors and furniture of the house and taking the civilians to an unknown place. It should be noted that the grandson reaches the age of twelve years.

Such acts of barbarism will not show the strength and masculinity, but are purely random dilemmas predicting how the bankruptcy of the occupiers and their aides, especially at these crimes which are prohibited under international decisions and international charters.”

The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) condemned this heinous crime; hold the occupation and the current government full responsibility, and called for the immediate release of three detainees, especially women.
