AMSI made a press statement to condemn the irresponsible acts of the Minister of Education’s security guards against our students violating the sanctity of the examinations halls, and disappointing their future. 

The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) confirms that the same anarchy have deep roots in all the ministries of the current Iraqi Government in many shapes and various forms.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate the Merciful,  

Praise is to Allah, Peace and blessings are upon the Messenger of Allah, His family and companions; 

One incident reflected the size of anarchy that has present in all the current government’s departments, and the inefficiency of who have assigned them the responsibilities. This incident came in the exams center in (Sab’ Abkar /Baghdad) is important to discover the tragedies that the Iraqi people suffered of. 

Hundreds of students came to perform their exams at the examination centre in Sab’ Abkar /Baghdad in insecure area on Thursday morning 26th/June. The students had become tired during entry into the halls because of strict inspection procedures, while those affected and the lack of such a procedure. They had to wait for long time to be able to enter; when they entered they didn’t find the place ready for the exam. The current status of chaos made it difficult to know the status of the student exams, as well as the late arrival of exam questions to them, and not provide any drinking water. 

The students had to protest these conditions, and the complaint to the Minister of Education, who came to visit the center in unannounced visit, may have to find a solution and a way out of this suffering. So the answer was by the hands of dozens of the Minister’s security guards who faced the students by shooting in air and on their feet wounding many students, and make the examination center a battle field. 

The AMSI condemns this irresponsible acts of the Minister of Education’s security guards against our students violating the sanctity of the examinations halls, and indifferent to their future. 

The AMSI confirms that the same anarchy is present in all the ministries in many shapes and various forms. The Iraqi people had been afflicted with those inefficient people who suppose to be in charge, those people who don’t know any thing but terror and corruption.

Our Iraqi people have to realize that there is no way to get rid of this hell if they didn’t get rid of the occupation first and all the people who came with the occupation to serve it, and get rewarded by the Iraqi blood and fortunes and the future of its sons.
