Tuesday, 08 July 2008 00:17

The Association of Muslim Scholar in Iraq (AMSI) issued a press release condemning the bloody crimes made by the occupation forces against a former army officer Colonel in Shirqatt / Mosul City and two young men in al-Adel / Baghdad City in front their family members.

                                                                             Press Release

The American occupation forces executed Khalaf Fathe Dekhel a former Iraqi army officer (colonel) on Saturday late evening in the left coast of Shirqatt / Mosul.

Eyewitnesses reported that these odious forces did an airdrop on the victim's home and executed him in front of his wife and children.

On the other hand, eyewitnesses confirmed that the American occupation forces committed another brutal crime last week when they executed two young men Othman Abdul Wahid Al-Kadiri, the son of her uncleHarith Zuhair in al-Adel / west Baghdad where those force raided the house. Then they –as usually- started to destroy furniture, beat the family members (women and children), after that they blindfolded the two victims and fired on them in front of their family and arrested the rest of the men in the home taking them to an unknown destination.

The proliferation of these crimes these days is an evidence of the despair and confusion of the occupation. Keeping silent about this crime is a clear evident that convict the occupation and who came with it.

The Association of Muslims Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) condemns these crimes and puts all its responsibility on the occupation and the current government, and demands all the humanity organizations to authenticate these crimes to achieve justice for the Iraqi people.
