HEYET Condemns Dohuk Bombings Print E-mail

The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (HEYET) published a press statement number 809 condemning the recent bombings in Dohuk Province. In the statement HEYET confirmed its solidarity with Kurdish people in their distress and warned the current politicians to not abuse this people who are jealous of their religion and country.

At the statement HEYET pointed out the crisis and violence in Dohuk province saying tht politicians are taking advantage of this event and implementing mass arrests.

HEYET also said that current situation in the region many of Kurdish people are living under poverty line, youth are unemployed and billions are stolen. HEYET blamed Kurdish politicians who are carrying out a policy suitable for external forces in return for gaining their support and survival.
